We lift those boards individually, drop in matching planks (from your leftover material or a close color match), feather the finish so the patch disappears, and hand you back a single, uniform floor by the end of the week - for a fraction of what a full replacement runs, and without losing a floor that was already broken in.
Chasing down what actually caused the damage
When a floor fails, the real cause is almost always something happening underneath it - a slow plumbing leak, a settling joist, or moisture working up through a slab. Floor Repair - frequently asked questions
Most repair assessments happen within 2 to 4 business days of your call. An active leak or a trip hazard jumps the line and gets scheduled the same week.
On hardwood, vinyl plank, and laminate, we match board-for-board and feather the finish, so a good repair disappears from across the room. On tile, it depends on whether a matching tile is still in production - we'll show you a sample before we commit to anything.
Most squeaks get fixed from below if there's basement or crawl-space access, by re-securing the subfloor to the joists. A squeak in the middle of a sealed floor sometimes means lifting and re-screwing the affected boards from the top instead.
Constantly - claw scratches and stained boards near an exterior door are a weekly job for us. Stains typically call for board replacement; surface scratches usually just need sanding and refinishing in place.
