Glue-down LVP feels heavier and quieter underfoot, and tends to be the better call for large open floor plans or commercial spaces with constant foot traffic. We'll recommend whichever fits your subfloor and layout - our crews install both.

The gap between a great LVP job and a mediocre one is almost always the subfloor prep. We level every low spot, fill every dip, and use whatever underlayment the manufacturer specifies. Our crews also cut custom-matched stair nosings when a factory option isn't available, handle baseboard removal and reinstall, and clear out your old flooring as part of the job.

The wear layer resists scratches well, but nothing is indestructible - dog claws and furniture dragged across the floor can mark up a cheaper product. For homes with larger dogs, we recommend at least a 20 mil wear layer.
A quality product with a 22-plus mil wear layer typically holds up for 20 to 25 years in a residential home. Commercial-rated LVP can stretch to 25-30 years.
