A warmer alternative to ceramic
Luxury vinyl tile gives you the appearance of stone, ceramic, or marble without the cold feel underfoot, the cracked grout lines, or the shattered dish when something gets dropped. Above Grade Flooring installs LVT throughout the South Denver Metro - in kitchens, bathrooms, entryways, mudrooms, and commercial spaces alike.
The LVT we carry meets the certifications designers look for - FloorScore for indoor air quality, CARB Phase II for formaldehyde limits, and E0 for low emissions - so it's a safe choice in households with young kids or asthma.

Grouted, ungrouted, or click - pick your install method
LVT can go down three different ways, and which one makes sense depends on your subfloor and the finished look you're after.
- Grouted LVT - real grout lines, virtually indistinguishable from ceramic - best for high-end kitchens and baths
- Ungrouted LVT - tight, clean seams with nothing to maintain - a good fit for whole-house consistency
- Click LVT - floats over the subfloor and installs fastest - well suited to basements and retrofit projects
- Glue-down LVT - the most solid, quietest feel underfoot - common in commercial spaces and busy homes

Learn moreWhy LVT often beats ceramic tile
LVT reads as stone or tile but feels noticeably softer, warmer, and quieter to walk on. It also forgives the occasional dropped glass better than ceramic does, and any grout used with it is sealed to resist staining far more effectively than standard cement grout. For families and pet owners, LVT solves most of the everyday frustrations of ceramic without giving up the upscale look.

How we install LVT
We flatten the subfloor first - LVT will telegraph every dip or high spot if that step gets skipped. From there we dry-lay the pattern to confirm placement, install using the correct adhesive or click system for the product, and finish with sealed grout where requested and transitions color-matched into adjoining rooms.

Vinyl Floor Tiles - frequently asked questions
We use a flexible, polymer-modified grout made specifically for LVT, so it moves with the floor instead of cracking, and it's sealed to resist staining better than standard cement grout does over time.
Yes - this is one of the settings where it performs best. It's fully waterproof, wipes clean easily, and won't crack if a heavy pan lands on it.
No - LVT has a noticeably warmer, softer feel underfoot than ceramic. It also pairs well with radiant floor heating if you want genuinely warm floors during our colder months.
Residential LVT with a wear layer of 22 mil or more usually lasts 20 to 25 years. Commercial-grade LVT holds up for 15 to 20 years even under heavy foot traffic.
